This summarised model to dealing with emotions is one product of counselling sessions with a trauma therapist and later sessions with a psychologist at BCH.


I've found the techniques invaluable for validating and processing my emotions, traumatic and otherwise. For me, it's become a wonderful tool for emotions 'big and small'.


As I develop this section, I'll try to explain the components, as well as discussing what I've found most useful and most difficult about it.
